Our Mission:

The Worcester Latino Dollars for Scholars is a private non-profit organization in the Latino community dedicated to provide financial assistance to Latino students from Worcester as they pursue higher education opportunities.


 Our mission is to increase access to higher education by involving the private sector in the financial support of these students and encouraging young Latino men and women to prepare for a satisfying and rewarding life.


The Worcester Latino Dollars for Scholars has been in existence since 1994.  We have raised more than $300,000 dollars and have awarded 600 scholarships to Latino Students in pursuit of higher education. 

Scholarship recipients have studied or graduated from the following institutions:

o   Assumption College

o   Boston College

o   Dartmouth College

o   Harvard University

o   Holy Cross College

o   Worcester Polytechnic Institute

o   Clark University

o   Worcester State University

o   University of Massachusetts

o   Quinsigamond Community College

o   Becker College 

o   Yale University

o   Massachusetts Institute of Technology
